"Scary Movie 5" provided enough scares and laughs to land in second place, with box office profits of $15,153,000. After a young couple brings home their first baby, they notice that all kinds of strange things are happening around their formerly peaceful home. To make matters even more complicated, Jody is struggling with her position as a prima ballerina, while Dan faces issues during his job as a primate researcher. The irreverent comedy has a PG-13 rating for crude and mature content, partial nudity, comic violence, gore, drug content, and language.

Five friends accidentally connect with evil forces, resulting in a bloodbath unlike anything they have ever imagined. Since they are in an isolated cabin in the woods, the friends cannot reach the outside world for help. As the gore and violence reaches new levels, the five realize there may only be one survivor. Mature content, language, and intense bloody violence and gore contribute to an R rating.

With the President of the United States desperate to escape a terrorist attack, one man knows that he has the knowledge and skills to save the country. The only problem is that this former guard already feels guilt over a past mistake, and is terrified to make a second one. "Olympus Has Fallen" has an R rating for language and violence.
"Oz the Great and Powerful" has earned more than $219 million overall. The film earned $4,923,000 over the weekend. Oscar finds himself in a strange new world. "The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia" centers on a Georgia family whose lives begin to fall apart after they start having supernatural encounters. As they slowly unravel the mystery surrounding their home, they realize that the haunting has dark and disturbing roots. The horror sequel has an R rating for disturbing horror content.
