Ben Affleck for Line of Sight
Ben Affleck is set to star in 'Line of Sight'.
The actor is in negotiations to appear in the action movie as well as direct the project, which is being produced by Joel Silver and Andrew Rona.
The film - which is being back by studio Warner Bros. - tells the story of an elite commando squad transporting cargo while at the same time dealing with a global threat.
The majority of the movie will be filmed from the perspective of one of the commandos, much like a first-person shooter.
Peter O'Brien - who wrote the game 'Halo: Reach' for Xbox 360 - has been asked to compose the script.
Before 'Line of Sight', Affleck is to begin work on military drama 'Argo' next month in Los Angeles.
He will be joined on screen by John Goodman, Alan Arkin and Bryan Cranston.
The film is set during the Iran hostage crisis involving a CIA team going undercover as a sci-fi film crew.
