Jason Bateman joins 2 new films

A 2011 black comedy directed by Seth Gordon, "Horrible Bosses" features a star-studded cast of Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Colin Farrell, Julie Bowen, Jamie Foxx, Jason Sudeikis, and Kevin Spacey. The plot consists of three employees (Bateman, Sudeikis, and Day) whose work existence would be made tolerable only if they didn't have to be around their horrible bosses (played by Spacey, Farrell, and Aniston). Since quitting is not an option, the three men come up with a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to permanently rid themselves of their employers.

Jason Bateman has signed up to star in 'The Longest Week'.

The 'Horrible Bosses' actor is reuniting with 'The Change-Up co-star Olivia Wilde in the movie, about a man who lives a life of luxury in a New York hotel before being told to leave by his parents.

With no where to go he finds himself falling in love with Olivia's character in the Peter Glantz-directed film

It is the second film in-demand Jason has joined the cast of, as he is also set to star in 'Disconnect' with an ensemble of Hollywood names including Alexander Skarsgard and Andrea Riseborough.

'Disconnect' - which will be helmed by Henry-Alex Rubin - tells the tale of the various characters whose lives are seriously affected by the internet.

Jason has a wide variety of film roles recently assigned to him - he will be taking part in 'The ID Theft' with Melissa McCarthy and 'The Insane Laws' alongside Vince Vaughn.

He is also set to take part in a movie version of TV show 'Arrested Development' in 2012.
