Amy J. Berg is an American film maker who grew up in San Fernando Valley and currently lives in Santa Monica, California. Amy is known best for her Academy Award-nominated documentary film Deliver Us from Evil (2006) about the sex abuse cases in the Roman Catholic Church and an abusive native Irish priest Oliver O'Grady. She has also directed a 10-minute-long documentary film Polarized (2007), for Al Gore's Live Earth Pledge.

Her most recent film, West of Memphis, produced by Peter Jackson and Damien Echols, documents the story of the West Memphis Three. The film has won numerous awards and received critical acclaim.
