This was one huge week for Marvel. Not only do we have a ton of Doctor Strange news for you, but Spider-Man: Homecoming, Black Panther, Luke Cage, Agents of SHIELD, and more had big Marvel weeks. We’ve got everything we could get our hands on for the last seven days in the Marvel Cinematic Universe below.

Doctor Strange

Over the last week not only did we find out just who else could have played Doctor Strange, but we also saw new posters, and got a ton of new information out of set reports. ComicBook.Com shared a description of a scene they got to watch as it filmed as well as detailed just how the Eye of Agamotto was created while Screen Rant shared their interview transcripts from chats with Kevin Feige, Scott Derrickson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tilda Swinton, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Plus, we got a new TV spot:

Star Wars fans will also be happy to hear that the final theatrical trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story will be running ahead of Doctor Strange when it hits theaters on November 4.

Spider-Man: Homecoming

Spider-Man made the move to New York this weekend to finish filming and fans caught star Tom Holland in an interesting new ensemble that looks nothing like his Spider-Man costume. One fan instagram account has also been sharing tons of behind the scenes images from filming if you just can’t wait for the movie. Tyron Woodley also spoke about just why he ended up not being in the movie. The latest rumor regarding the film indicates that we might be seeing yet another villain from the comics on the big screen.

Black Panther

The movie is giving Winston Duke his big break! The young actor has signed on to play M’Baku, AKA Man Ape. He’ll co-star with Danai Gurira, who recently spoke about how important movies like Black Panther are for kids growing up in African communities. Check out the VFX breakdown for Black Panther’s debut in Captain America: Civil War below:

Luke Cage

It’s finally premiere week for Marvel’s newest Netflix property! The series lands on the streaming site tomorrow and in celebration, Complex, USA Today, and The Hollywood Reporter all ran features on the series. The cast also stopped by Marvel’s official podcast and Simone Missick even revealed that the show won’t be the only place we can see her character. Netflix shared the final trailer for the show and Marvel announced a live concert with music from the soundtrack.

Agents of SHIELD

We met the new boss in this week’s episode and got a look ahead to the next new episode “Uprising.” Marvel also shared just how they pull off those Ghost Rider VFX, Jason O’Mara talked about his character live on Marvel’s facebook, and costume designer Ann Foley discussed her process with Screen Rant. Gabriel Luna may have slipped up in an interview, hinting that Mephisto could be coming to the MCU. Marvel is also helping some viewers play catch up in case their behind by releasing Marvel 101 spotlights. This week, we got the ladies of the show as May, Daisy, and Jemma all had videos released. Samuel L. Jackson also shared his thoughts on whether or not the organization spotlighted in the show will make its way back to the movies.
