You won’t just be able to watch Luke Cage in action; if you’re going to be in Los Angeles near October 6, you’ll be able to experience the full effect of the show’s music live. Marvel announced a live concert featuring the music of the series this weekend.

The event will be held October 6 at The Theatre at Ace Hotel. Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Adrian Younge, who scored the series, will be in charge of curating the music for the live concert as well, though this time, they’ll have a 40 piece orchestra to work with. Russell Peters and Wayne Brady will host the evening.

Tickets for the event are on sale now through Axs. If you love what you hear, the official soundtrack for the show will go on sale through digital retailers the next day.

We already know from Cheo Hodari Coker that the likes of Gang Starr (he gave the episodes names from songs by the duo), Wu Tang Clan, and A Tribe Called Quest had a big influence on the music of the show. The series itself will feature appearances by quite a few hip hop artists as well.

You can see (and hear) it all come together when Luke Cage lands on Netflix. The entire first season of the series will be available to stream starting Friday, September 30.
