Hugh Jackman on Wolverine diet
Hugh Jackman is eating six meals a day to prepare for 'Wolverine 2'.
The Australian actor - who is due to resurrect the mutant character for the fifth time in the 'X-Men' franchise - reveals the movie will be "out of the box" and he is having to train hard to get into shape to play Wolverine.
He said: "Expect to see four chicken breasts and a whole pile of steamed broccoli on my plate. I'm starting. I'm having my six meals a day.
"This is, hopefully for me, going to be out of the box. It's going to be the best one, I hope. Well I would say that, but I really do feel that, and I feel this is going to be very different."
The 42-year-old hunk also thinks the film - which will be directed by Darren Aronofsky - will be "dark" and have "meat on the bones".
He told Vulture blog: "This is 'Wolverine'. This is not 'Popeye'. He's kind of dark. But, you know, this is a change of pace. Chris McQuarrie, who wrote 'The Usual Suspects', has written the script, so that'll give you a clue.
"Aronofsky's going to make it fantastic. There's going to be some meat on the bones. There will be something to think about as you leave the theatre, for sure."
'Wolverine 2' is due to hit cinemas in 2011.
