TV and film actor David Schwimmer, best known for his role as Ross on the popular and long-running ensemble comedy show “Friends” has announced that he is engaged to girlfriend Zoe Buckman.
The couple currently lives in Chicago after Buckman, a British photographer, moved to the States to be closer to Schwimmer, who she has been dating since 2007.
Ironically, this is the first marriage for the 43 year old Schwimmer. His character, Ross, was married and divorced three times on “Friends” and was known for being wishy-washy in his relationships and decisions.
This is also the first marriage for Buckman, who is quite a bit younger than her fiance. Buckman is just 24 years old. Despite the age difference, the couple has already survived nearly 3 years of courtship, quite a length of time by celebrity standards.
No date has been set for the Schwimmer-Buckman wedding at this point.
