Weekend Preview! What Will You See?

"Evil Dead" arrives in theaters on Friday, April 5. This much-anticipated remake of the 1981 horror classic features Fede Alvarez as the new director, with Sam Raimi as producer. When five young friends head out to an isolated cabin, they plan to spend time relaxing and having a little fun in the woods. However, a strange book opens the door to all kinds of ominous forces. The relaxing vacation soon becomes a bloody and brutal fight for survival. Language, mature content, and strong bloody violence contribute to the movie's R rating.

"Jurassic Park 3D" arrives back in theaters, this time in vivid 3D. Steven Spielberg's 1993 film stars Sam Neill and Laura Dern as a pair of talented paleontology experts. An eccentric CEO approaches the couple, requesting that they join a team of elite specialists. Their destination is beyond imagination: a theme park where dinosaurs roam the earth once again. However, when a tropical storm hits, all bets are off. Now, the humans trapped in the theme park face big trouble. The beloved adventure film has a PG-13 rating for intense sci-fi terror.

Danny Boyle directs "Trance," which arrives in select theaters on April 5. Simon is an art auctioneer who ends up in over his head after a group of ruthless criminals involve him in their scheme. A head injury leaves Simon with severe amnesia, and a stolen painting is still at large. With his life in danger, Simon turns to a beautiful hypnotherapist who claims she can help him recover his lost memories. The edgy film has an R rating for graphic nudity, grisly images, mature content, violence, and language.

"The Company You Keep" is a new thriller from Robert Redford, who both directs and stars. During the 1970s, family man Jim Grant lived a much different life than the one he leads now. He was involved with the illegal and dangerous dealings of Weather Underground, a radical organization. When an ambitious young reporter decides to uncover Jim's past dealings, Jim finds himself once again struggling to escape the law. The film's R rating is due to language.

"The Brass Teapot" is a quirky dark comedy about a young couple who stumble upon a gadget that could change everything. An unassuming brass teapot actually has the ability to produce endless money. The only catch is that the owners must be in pain before the teapot will cough up the cash. As greed overtakes the young couple, they have to think long and hard about how far they will go for financial success. "The Brass Teapot" has an R rating for violence, mature content, language, and drug use. Ramaa Mosley directs.

"6 Souls" debuts on limited release on April 5. MÃ¥rlind & Stein directs. As a forensic psychiatrist, Cara is accustomed to disturbing cases. However, she does not feel prepared for Adam, a young man who has multiple personalities. Cara slowly begins to realize that all of Adam's personalities belong to murder victims. As she unravels the mystery, the psychiatrist begins to wonder whether she even wants to know the answer. The suspenseful horror film has an R rating for violence, disturbing images, and terror.

Continuing Films

"G.I. Joe: Retaliation" stars Bruce Willis as General Joe Colton, one of the only men who can save the United States from the threat of Cobra Commander and his operatives. With Zartan posing as the President and the whole country in an uproar, it is up to Colton, Roadblock, and the other heroes to restore peace and order. The film's PG-13 rating is due to martial arts action sequences, combat violence, language, and brief sensuality. Jon M. Chu directs.

Kirk De Micco and Chris Sanders direct "The Croods." In this inventive animated film, a group of timid cave-dwelling people have to navigate a fantastical new landscape if they want to find a new place to call home. With the help of a more evolved guide, the Neanderthals will discover all sorts of amazing sights. However, they will also encounter some unexpected dangers. The PG rating is due to scary action scenes.

"Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor" is the latest film from Tyler Perry. When a smart and ambitious young woman meets a dangerous and seductive playboy, she finds herself questioning her formerly happy marriage. If she makes the wrong choice, everything she has worked for could be gone in a single kiss. The PG-13 rating is due to violence, mature content, and drug content.

"Olympus Has Fallen" is a thriller about a disgraced Presidential guard who longs for a way to redeem himself after a fatal mistake. When the chance finally comes, the stakes may be too high. Antoine Fuque directs the film, which has an R rating for violence and language.
