A family fantasy mystery adventure film adapted from the similarly titled novel by J. K. Rowling. Like its source material, this 2004 film adaptation is the third installment in the Harry Potter series. It follows as Harry, Ron and Hermione (Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint & Emma Watson) return for their third year at Hogwarts, where they are forced to face an escaped prisoner named Sirius Black (Gary Oldman).
