Luke Goss wants "Death Race 4" movie

Luke Goss wants to star in a fourth 'Death Race' instalment.

The singer-turned-actor - who shot to fame in the 1980s with boy band Bros before going on to launch a movie career - had previously ruled out appearing in another film in the franchise after wrapping on 'Death Race 3: Inferno', but he has already come up with some ideas for another addition to the series.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: ''When I did this one I said to myself I probably won't do a fourth one, but when I saw how three turned out then I thought it was pretty cool, and I was really happy that we'd put together such a great movie.

''We were talking about some ideas for a fourth film, if it was to happen, and if that came off and the studio was behind it again like they have been then I'd like to be a part of that. When you see there's a number four you think you probably shouldn't be a part of that but if it's a great story then I'd like to be in it.''

While the 44-year-old star enjoyed filming 'Death Race 3: Inferno' - which also stars Danny Trejo and Dougray Scott - he admits the movie was more ''physically strenuous'' to shoot than the second instalment because he had to do all his own stunts.

He added: ''This film was more challenging than the last one because we didn't have a stunt double on this one. On 'Death Race 2' I did most of my stunts and the studio thought that benefits the movies so on this one they said, 'How do you feel about doing all of them?' And I said that was fine.

''It was a lot of work and physically strenuous just because you've got nobody doubling things for you so it just takes longer to do because you're doing everything. It was hours and hours of work, but I love all that stuff.''

Luke Goss stars as Carl ''Luke'' Lucas/ Frankenstein in 'Death Race 3: Inferno', which is out now on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital Download.
