Diane Kruger's physical love
Diane Kruger loves making physical films.
The 'Troy' actress enjoys appearing in action movies which allow the hero's character to be shown and lets them defend something he or she believes in.
She said: "I love making films that are physical if the character has something to defend. What I love in action films is that you get the sense the character is smart and someone that actually thinks about why they're doing what they're doing.
"You can be greater than yourself, you can defend a cause that is greater than yourself. They're often very ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances."
Diane was speaking in a documentary 'The Hero's Journey' about the action adventure genre and 'Avatar' star Michelle Rodriguez says she likes her heroes to have "flaws".
She said: "I love anti-heroes, I think they're awesome. My favourite.
"What will bring intrigue to the story telling? What will be intrigue to the process? Only human flaw. You watch the imperfections of a hero and you can relate to him."
'The Hero's Journey' is a documentary short directed by Ed Zwick inspired by PlayStation 3's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, exploring the Action Adventure genre. The documentary is available to view on www.youtube.com/playstation3.
