The sequel to 1988's original Die Hard and the second installment in the action series opens with Bruce Willis back in the role of hero cop John McClane. He's awaiting the arrival of his wife (again played by Bonnie Bedelia) to Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. when he learns that terrorists have taken over the landing system.
