Dustin Hoffman didn't understand Kung Fu Panda
Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Helen Mirren and Mary-Louise Parker star in the 2010 action-comedy that is "Red". After he's threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses (Willis) reassembles his old crew to go after their longtime assailants. The movie's title (RED) stands for "Retired Extremely Dangerous".
Dustin Hoffman "didn't know" what he was doing on 'Kung Fu Panda 2'.
The veteran actor portrays red panda Shifu in the animated movie series and admits he is often left bemused by the processes involved in cartoon voiceovers.
He said: "I didn't know what I was doing. When you make these things you don't have a whole script. you work a few days, you come back in a month, they are suddenly re-doing what they just did. They don't even know where it's going except in a vague sense, so you're really in their hands."
The 73-year-old star claimed he didn't even realise he was working on a sequel.
He said: "I don't have any short term memory anymore, I thought I was doing one."
Dustin - who is joined in the movies by Jack Black, who plays the lead character Po, and Angelina Jolie, who voices Tigress - also admitted there would be conditions attached to him rejoining the series for a third film.
He joked in an interview with moviefone.co.uk: : "They [the filmmakers] asked me to do a 'Kung Fu 3', I said 'Not unless you give me a nose job and make me 6 feet tall and let me be the leading man to Angelina Jolie.' "
