Elle Fanning to join Maleficent cast
Elle Fanning is in talks to join the cast of 'Maleficent'.
The forthcoming Disney movie will tell the tale of the famous 'Sleeping Beauty' villainous fairy - to be played by Angelina Jolie - and the 'Super 8' star in in line for the role of Princess Aurora.
The movie, to be directed by Robert Stromberg from Linda Wolverton's script, is due to start shooting in London in June.
Angelina has previously discussed her excitement about the movie, saying her six children were desperate to take part in the project and even nicknamed her ''mom-elicent''.
She has said: ''The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children.
''You know, you find different ways to make things matter.''
'Maleficent' isn't the only movie Angelina wants to make for her kids - she is keen to reprise her role as Tigress in a third 'Kung Fu Panda' movie.
She said recently: ''We can say we are in discussions [for 'Kung Fu Panda 3']. Tigress is my alternate personality, especially with children. I love animation because you get to do things you don't normally get to. For one, I could bring my kids and wear my pajamas, and hang out with Jen. And my character is just so badass.''
