Robert DeNiro, Drew Barrymore, and Kate Beckinsale star in this remake of the 1990 Italian film. A recent widower with heart trouble, Frank Goode (DeNiro) is retired from a factory job and lives by himself in Elmira, NY. He's proud of having pushed his children, who are all adults now with fast-tracked careers. When they fail to show up to a summer reunion, Frank goes against his doctor's orders and decides to surprise each with a visit.
