A dynamic action-thriller directed by Steven Soderbergh, Haywire boasts a star-studded cast with actors Michael Fassbender, Channing Tatum, Michael Douglas, Gina Carano, Antonio Banderas & Ewan McGregor all starring. Freelance covert operative Mallory Kane (Carano) is hired out by her handler to various global entities to perform jobs that governments can't authorize and heads of state would rather not know about. After a mission to rescue a hostage in Barcelona, Mallory is quickly dispatched on another mission to Dublin. When the operation goes awry and Mallory finds she has been double crossed, she needs to use all of her skills, tricks, and abilities to escape an international manhunt, make it back to the United States, protect her family, and exact revenge on those who have betrayed her.

Ewan McGregor has joined the cast of 'August: Osage County'.

The Scottish actor will play Julia Roberts' character's husband Bill Fordham in the new black comedy, based on the play by Tracy Letts.

Meryl Streep stars as a prescription-drug taking mother and the film tells the story of her relationship with her family; Julia plays her daughter Barbara.

John Wells is directing the project, which has been adapted for the screen by Letts, while George Clooney and Grant Heslov will be producing.

Juliette Lewis, Abigail Breslin and Dermot Mulroney are also starring in the movie, with Benedict Cumberbatch also rumoured to be in negotiations for a role.

Ewan - who is best known for roles in 'Trainspotting' and various 'Star Wars' films - was most recently seen in 'Haywire' and 'Salmon Fishing in the Yemen' with Emily Blunt and he will next be seen in 'Jack the Giant Killer' alongside Nicholas Hoult.
