Tim McGraw to join Safe House?
Tim McGraw is in talks to join the cast of 'Safe House'.
The country singer would join Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds in the action thriller directed by Daniel Espinosa if he were to sign up.
'Safe House' tells the tale of a lone CIA agent (Reynolds) who survives an attack on a secret base by a group of villains and who must try to get a lethal prisoner (Washington) to another safe house.
McGraw would join the film as a CIA agent who must mentor Reynolds, although he has a secret agenda, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
David Guggenheim - a former US Weekly editor - has written the script for the project.
The movie is expected for release in 2012.
McGraw can currently be seen in 'Country Song' alongside Gwyneth Paltrow and has starred in a number of films alongside his music career including 2007's 'The Kingdom' and 'Four Christmases' in 2008.
