A 2009 HBO bio-drama based on the life stories of the eccentric aunt and first cousin of Jacqueline "Jackie O." Onassis. Jessica Lange plays Edith Ewing Bouvier ("Big Edie") while Drew Barrymore acts as Edith Bouvier Beale ("Little Edie"). The socialite mother-daughter duo became publicly known in the 1970's after they were found living in poverty and squalor at their East Hampton, NY mansion. The film flashes back and forth between various events, depicting Little Edie as a young débutante in 1936 as she and her mother move to their Grey Gardens estate. Jeanne Tripplehorn co-stars as Jacqueline Kennedy (Little Edie's cousin).
