Grumpy Old Men Blu-ray Review

Grumpy Old Men is a classic 1993 original film release that features some of the best of the old school actors. You can now enjoy this bitter, but funny, battle between next door neighbors, John Gustafson (Oscar winner Jack Lemmon of Glengarry Glen Ross) and Max Goldman (Walter Matthau of Dennis the Menace), on Blu-ray. From director Donald Petrie and Warner Bros. Home Video, the movie makes its Blu-ray release July 7th.

John and Max have engaged in a long-running feud when the rivalry intensifies following the appearance of an attractive widow (Ann-Margret of Carnal Knowledge). Set in a snowy Minnesota winter, Grumpy Old Men is a heartwarming tale about two men who have not lost their passion for fighting in their later years.

There are plenty of jokes and humorous moments throughout this original and unique romantic comedy, which also stars Darryl Hannah (Attack of the 50 Foot Woman) and Kevin Pollack (A Few Good Men).
