Simon Pegg finds watching himself hard
Simon Pegg sometimes finds it ''hard'' to watch his own movies.
The 44-year-old actor - who has five-year-old daughter Matilda with wife Maureen - is very ''proud'' of his work but doesn't enjoying viewing them back as much as his spouse does.
He said: ''Sometimes it's hard to watch yourself, 'Shaun of the Dead' is on TV all the time and my wife loves it, as I do, I'm very proud of it, but I can't always watch it. 'Do we have to watch this, again?' 'Yeah, I love it.' ''
While Maureen loves 'Shaun of the Dead', Simon admitted she has never seen all of 'Star Trek' - in which he plays Scotty - because she was pregnant when they went to the 2009 premiere of the sci-fi reboot, and the noise from the film got the baby overexcited.
He explained: ''She walked out of 'Star Trek' because she was pregnant at the time and it was so noisy it was making the baby really boot her so she had to get out.
''She has never seen the end of the first 'Star Trek' film because she never bothered to see it again.''
Simon was happy to watch his latest movie, 'Hector and the Search for Happiness', in the cinema because he felt the heartwarming story creates a ''bond'' among the audience.
He explained: '''Hector' is a nice thing to watch with a group of people because you get a nice feeling in the room, it's a shared moment with people you don't know, it creates a happiness.''
