Hugh Jackman keen on another Wolverine movie
Hugh Jackman is keen to make another 'Wolverine' movie.
The 43-year-old star is due to reprise his role as the titular character in 'The Wolverine' and while he admits the franchise will ''go well beyond'' him, the actor only wants to quit the role when he stops ''loving it''.
He said: ''I have been working for 12 years on the Wolverine character and while the franchise will go well beyond me, it really has been the backbone of my career.
''This one has certainly been the most interesting and complex of the superhero characters. I do take my career one (step) at a time and I feel like a golfer always looking for that hole in one.''
Hugh has starred as Wolverine in five 'X-Men' movies, but he insists the script for the forthcoming spin-off film is the ''best'' of the superhero films in which he's played the muscular character.
He said: ''When I saw the script for this I thought this was the best script we've had and this is our chance to make the definitive movie.''
The Australian-born star is currently in his home nation to shoot 'The Wolverine', and he admits it is one of the ''great privileges'' in his career to be able to film the movie in his own country.
He added to the Hollywood Reporter: ''I am so happy to be home, to be shooting a movie of this magnitude here at home is one of the great privileges I have had in my career.''
