Adam Brody to save Damsel in Distress?
Adam Brody and Greta Gerwig have been signed on to 'Damsels in Distress'.
The former 'O.C' actor and the 'Greenberg' beauty have already begun shooting on the project, directed by Whit Stillman - his first movie project since 'The Last Days of Disco' was released in 1998.
The film tells the tale of a group of fashionable college girls who help a new girl at their university get through life.
Gerwig - who will play the new girl - will find herself involved with Brody's character, a man who her newfound friends have their doubts about, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She made her name in 2006 in independent movie 'LOL' and recently shot the role of Linda in 'Arthur' alongside Russell Brand and Dame Helen Mirren.
Brody rapped filming on 'Scream 4' earlier this year, and will next be seen in comedy drama 'The Oranges' with Hugh Laurie and Leighton Meester, due for release in 2011.
