Isla Fisher 'bummed' about Bachelorette jokes
Kristen Wiig leads the cast of this comedy as a maid of honor who begins to come unglued as she leads her best friend (played by Maya Rudolph) down the road to matrimony. Making the experience especially memorable and somewhat miserable is a group of colorful bridesmaids (played by Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper). Directed by Paul Feig.
Isla Fisher was disappointed when some of her funny scenes were cut from 'Bachelorette'.
The 36-year-old actress stars alongside Kirsten Dunst and Lizzy Caplan in the comedy movie - which tells the story of three women who are asked to be bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl they used to mock in high school - and while her character is still really silly, the flame-haired beauty is ''bummed'' that more of her jokes weren't included in the film.
She said: ''I got some jokes that were cut that I'm bummed about. I got to say anything I wanted basically because my character is so stupid.''
Kirsten believes the ''genius'' of director Leslye Headland and the trio's ''quick acting style'' contributed to the movie - which is coming out on iTunes before its big screen release - looking like a high budget production, but she insists it is not one.
She added to Collider.com: ''You would think it's a big movie, it looks huge budget but it's not. We made it for little money really quickly. It's just the genius of Leslye and our quick acting style. It is a big movie but it's not, it wasn't made like that.''
Isla explained: ''I think we're a guinea pig for this type of release.''
