Kevin Bacon won't do action in X: Men movie
Kevin Bacon will not undertake big action scenes in 'X-Men: First Class'.
The actor will play Sebastian Shaw - the mutant with an ability to transform kinetic energy into physical strength in the forthcoming Matthew Vaughn-directed project - but confirms he will not be undertaking many action scenes.
He said: "I'll let the younger actors do that. I'm more one of those sit in my chair and destroy the world type of guys."
Kevin, 52, is currently filming the role in London, and confesses 2010 has been a "great" year for him, most recently shooting 'Crazy, Stupid, Love' with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and action thriller 'Elephant White'.
He said: "It's been a great year. It's almost embarrassing to say that it's been such a great year when I think about how many people in this country and the rest of the world have struggled."
Nicholas Hoult, January Jones and James McAvoy are also set to star in the 'X-Men' prequel, written by 'Kick-Ass' scribe Jane Goldman.
'X-Men: First Class' is expected to hit cinemas in summer 2011.
