Jason Segal: 'Muppets movie is the coolest thing ever'
Jason Segel thinks the new 'Muppet' movie is "the coolest thing ever".
The actor - who both stars in and wrote the script for the film - explained he is very proud that people recently had the chance to see preview clips of the motion picture and he is "so excited" about the project.
He said: "I was just so excited for people to see it finally. I'm couldn't be more proud of the movie. I'm so excited for it to come out. Even to have a few clips today, to finally have it out of the edit suite and to give people little bits and bobs - it's the coolest thing ever."
Jason - who stars alongside Amy Adams in the movie, which will see Jim Henson's creatures on the big screen for the first time since 1999 - explained there was a huge demand for visits to the set because fans wanted to meet main characters Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy.
He added to Collider.com: "There were more set visits on this movie than anything I've ever been a part of and they had no interest in hanging out with me, they just wanted to meet Piggy and Kermit."
The 31-year-old old star plays Gary, who works alongside Mary (Amy) to raise $10 million dollars to save the Muppet Theatre from Tex Richman (Chris Cooper), who wants to demolish the building to drill for oil.
'The Muppets' is set to be released on November 23.
