Clive Owen to star in Recall
Clive Owen is set to star in 'Recall'.
The British actor will take on the lead role of a National Security Agency (NSA) agent, who will be unable to trust anyone including his own brain, as he attempts to discover the truth about what happened during a rescue attempt that went wrong.
'Mercury Rising' and 'Domestic Disturbance' filmmaker Harold Becker will direct from a script written by Paul Schrader with filming set to being in March 2012 in Washington DC and Bulgaria.
Clive was last seen in action-thriller 'The Killer Elite', based on the Ranulph Fiennes novel 'The Feather Man', where he played the leader of a vigilante group fighting to protect the families of SAS agents.
Clive starred alongside Jason Statham - who played a former Navy SEAL who comes out of retirement in order to save an old friend (Clive) in the movie by Irish director Gary McKendry - who made his film debut with the picture.
Owen will next be seen in horror thriller 'Intruders', followed by terrorist drama 'Shadow Dancer' and financial movie 'Cities'.
