Jennifer Lawrence has been left with blister scars from 'X-Men: First Class'.

The 20-year-old actress said that the eight-hour process of being shaved, rubbed down with alcohol, coated with five layers of paint and topped with silicone scales to play blue-skinned mutant Mystique has scarred her décolletage.

She said in an interview with The Telegraph: "I got tired just thinking about it. It was a long process. I have scars."

With a budget of $120 million, shooting the 'X-Men' prequel was more intensive than 'Winter's Bone' - the film for which Jennifer received an Oscar nomination for Best Actress.

She said: "There are so many production jobs - three times as many as there were on 'Winter's Bone'."

In spite of the ordeal of being transformed into Mystique, Jennifer said that filming 'X-Men: First Class' was "a very cool thing to be a part of".

"It was mostly just fun. I don't remember us working, I just remember us cracking up on set."
