Anne Hathaway joins romantic comedy Low Self-Esteem
Anne Hathaway is set to star in 'The Low Self-Esteem of Lizzie Gillespie'.
The 'Les Miserables' actress is to play a woman who has a severe lack of self-worth after dating a string of bad men but suddenly finds her life turned around when she is pursued by a hot guy.
The romantic comedy has been written by Mindy Kalig, who is also likely to take on a supporting role in the picture, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
A director is still being sought for the film, which will be produced by Lianne Halfon and Russell Smith from Mr. Mudd.
John Malkovich is set to executively produce the project.
The film currently does not have a scheduled release date or production planned.
Anne has seen her star power rising in recent months, having appeared as Catwoman in the critically acclaimed 'The Dark Knight Rises' and she will next be seen in the coveted role of Fantine in Tom Hooper's musical 'Les Miserables' alongside Russell Crowe, Amanda Seyfried and Hugh Jackman.
