John Malkovich joins Warm Bodies
John Malkovich has joined the cast of 'Warm Bodies'.
The 57-year-old actor - who has previously received Oscar nomination for 'Places in the Heart' and 'In the Line of Fire' - has signed up to star in the zombie romance film alongside Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer.
'X-Men: First Class' hunk Nicholas will play a member of the undead named R who begins a relationship with a human girl, played by Australian Teresea.
Malkovich will play a character name General Grigio, a man who is obsessed with destroying zombies.
Jonathan Levine is directing the project and wrote the screenplay, which is based on the book of the same name by Isaac Marion.
Rob Corddry - who has starred in 'Hot Tub Time Machine' and 'What Happens in Vegas' is also set to take a leading role.
Malkovich most recently played the role of Bruce Brazos in 'Transformers: Dark of the Moon', and will next be seen in 'As Linhas de Torres' and 'Educazione siberiana', both of which are in pre-production and due out in 2012.
