John Malkovich is an established actor, producer and director. He started his movie career in the 1980's and continues to appear in mainstream films, with the more recent titles being Red (2010) and Secretariat (2010). Malkovich also appeared in the 2011 box office hit Transformers: Dark of the Moon as the character of Bruce Brazos.
He's currently in the process of producing the film adaptation of Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Upon making his feature film debut in 1984's Places in the Heart, John Malkovich received his first Academy Award nomination for the role of blind boarder Mr. Will. In this same year he portrayed Al Rockoff in The Killing Fields.
Malkovich became a real star when he portrayed the sensual character of Valmont in 1988's Dangerous Liaisons.
In 2002 he made his directorial debut with the movies The Dancer Upstairs and Hideous Man.
