Ben Stiller for Neighborhood Watch?
Ben Stiller is considering a role in movie 'Neighborhood Watch'.
The 'Little Fockers' actor - who is also believed to be starring in the remake of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' - is wanted to play the lead character in the film, which is being written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
The movie - which is being set-up by Fox - tells the story of a resident from an urban community who joins his local neighbourhood watch when he moves to the suburbs, but he meets some unexpected extraterrestrial activity.
Will Ferrell - who has starred alongside Ben in 'Zoolander' and 'Anchorman' - was originally thought to be considered for the main role, with 'Wedding Crashers' director David Dobkin in line to be at the helm of 'Neighborhood Watch'.
But 'The Lonely Island' director Akiva Schaffer, who writes for 'Saturday Night Live', is now reportedly in negotiations to work on the movie.
Ben and Will are set to work together on the sequel of 'Zoolander', which will see the 45-year-old actor reprise his role as clueless supermodel Derek Zoolander.
Earlier this year, he said: "We're shooting the 'Zoolander' sequel at the moment. Derek's going to be back bigger and better than before - no catwalk is safe."
