The Stewart and Sanders Cheating Scandal: How it Happened

It has been suggested recently in the media that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart's happy life might not be as happy as it seems. Recently, Pattinson suggested that he may be ready to propose to his girlfriend of three years, which is why the idea of an affair is something many cannot accept. The two play Edward and Bella in the Twilight series, and because of this and their relationship, the media is a complete frenzy over the idea that the two might not work out. "Twi-hards," or those who believe that the two are as in love as the two characters from the movie series, are set on the two working out their problems.

This one might not be so easy. Kristin Stewart recently filmed a new movie, "Snow White and the Huntsman," which was directed by Rupert Sanders. Rupert Sanders is an English director of films, advertisements, and other media, and he is married to model, Liberty Ross, who is the sister of Oscar-winning composer Atticus Ross. Rupert Sanders has two children with his wife, Skyla and Tennyson, and they live together in California.

Proof of an affair between Rupert Sanders and Kristen Stewart has been released. The affair allegedly lasted from the time during the making of "Snow White and the Huntsman" and lasted for several months after the release of the film, possibly until the media released images of the pair making out together.

In the images, viewers see Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders cuddling and kissing, which doesn't leave much to the imagination. Some images show them grinding against a fence in a park near LA, while another shows the two kissing in a car. The images also show the two driving back toward the home that Sanders shares with his wife and children.

Shortly after the photos were released, Kristen stated that the momentary indiscretion jeopardized her life with Rob, the most important thing to her. The two had been dating since the first "Twilight" film in 2008. Once she released a statement, Robert Pattinson was seen leaving the home the two shared together, admittedly upset about the affair.

It is alleged that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are no longer speaking after the betrayal; both of the actors have moved their belongings out of their once love nest. What is even more heart wrenching is that days before the photos were released, Pattinson had hinted that he was ready to propose to his long-time girlfriend. Sources say that Pattinson wants to have a man-to-man chat with Sanders to determine how far the affair went. He is looking to understand what happened to see if he can save his relationship with his girlfriend. Kristen Stewart has stated that she would write a letter of apology to Rupert Sanders's wife, Liberty.

Despite relations outside of filming, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have been told that they must attend the premiere of the final "Twilight" movie. On the other side of the action, Liberty Ross has put her foot down with Rupert Sanders. She has stated that he cannot direct the sequel to "Snow White and the Huntsman" and must stay away from Kristen Stewart if he wants to salvage their long-time relationship.

Since "Snow White and the Huntsman" was Sanders's premier film, he was hoping that it would help him further break into the movie industry. Unfortunately, if he wants to salvage the marriage with his wife, he will have to take other avenues. Liberty has been very clear about either the movie being directed by another person or not casting Kristin Stewart in additional films. As the film's lead, Kristen Stewart may have precedence over the return of Sanders, allowing the movies to move on with a new director and the same leading lady.

Even through the humiliation of this event, Kristen Stewart has still been cast in a role for the upcoming movie, "Lie Down in Darkness." The film is an adaption of William Styron's 1951 novel. There have been talks that she may move on to this film instead of the "Snow White and the Huntsman" sequel, but a Universal source suggests that the options are still open, even with Stewart and Sanders working together in the future. Much of the fate of the movies will come down to whether the two sides can come to an agreement, but at this point, it looks as though there are two relationships in the balance that are more important than movie politics.
