Olivia Wilde inspired by Kristen Wiig
Kristen Wiig leads the cast of this comedy as a maid of honor who begins to come unglued as she leads her best friend (played by Maya Rudolph) down the road to matrimony. Making the experience especially memorable and somewhat miserable is a group of colorful bridesmaids (played by Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper). Directed by Paul Feig.
Olivia Wilde ''worships'' Kristen Wiig.
The 'TRON: Legacy' actress is a huge fan of the 'Bridesmaids' actress because she proves it is possible to be sexy as well as funny.
Talking about her new role in comedy 'The Incredible Burt Wonderstone' - which also stars Jim Carrey, Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi - Olivia said: ''I auditioned for it, which I love. You feel more secure. I competed against some wonderful comedians - real comedians - and was this wild card. I know Steve Carell, who's producing the film, didn't expect anything from me. I don't see why sexuality and comedy have to be mutually exclusive. That's a tragic concept when it comes to women - you can be sexy and funny. I think Kristen Wiig is the perfect example; she's quirky and nerdy and, like, 'I'm a f***ing sexbomb but also the funniest person you've ever met.' And I worship her for that.''
Olivia is also keen to shake off her sex symbol image and may not be so open with her sexuality in the future.
The 27-year-old beauty told GQ magazine: ''I was very sexually mature at a very young age. I was very comfortable with it, and once someone hears a young woman speaking candidly about sexuality, it's like, 'Whoa!' You get labelled.''
