Angelina Jolie once again plays the female superhero of the title name in this 2003 fantasy action thriller, the sequel to 2001's Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. In the role of Croft, Jolie continues swinging, kicking, shooting, flying, riding and free-falling her way toward saving the world, this time by making sure that an evil scientist (played by Ciarán Hinds) doesn't open Pandora's Box and unleash a deadly plague that will wipe out the population.
