Nicki Minaj to star in "The Other Woman"
Nicki Minaj has been cast in 'The Other Woman'.
The 'Pound the Alarm' rapper is in final negotiations to make her big screen debut alongside Cameron Diaz in the revenge comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Minaj, who previously lent her voice to animated film 'Ice Age: Continental Drift', has been tapped to play the outspoken assistant of Diaz's character, who has been married three times.
The Nick Cassavetes-directed comedy centres on a woman (Diaz) who finds out she is the 'other woman' in an affair and teams up with her lover's wife to exact revenge. However, the unlikely duo soon discover that the philandering spouse has been cheating on them with other women as well.
'Game of Thrones' star Nikolaj Coster-Waldau has been cast as the cheating husband, and 'This is 40' actress Leslie Mann is set to play his wife.
Kate Upton will play another mistress in a supporting role, while 'Chicago Fire' hunk Taylor Kinney has also been cast in the movie.
The film's script was written by Melissa Stack and is being produced by Julie Yorn for 20th Century Fox.
The movie is expected to begin filming in the late spring/early summer in New York City.
