Liam Neeson to star in All Nighter
Liam Neeson is to star in 'The All Nighter'.
The 'Taken' actor is in negotiations to take on the lead role in the forthcoming crime thriller, in which he would play an aging hit man who goes up against his former mob employers.
He is looking to protect his estranged family but is forced to go on the run with his son, both from the retaliation of the gangsters and from the authorities seeking to track down everyone involved.
However, it may be some time before the film - which has been in development for almost a year - is made as there is not yet a director on board.
'Out Of The Furnace' writer Brad Inglesby has penned the script for the movie.
The project is the latest for Liam, who can next be seen in Paul Haggis' drama 'The Third Person' and action thriller 'Non-Stop'.
It was also recently announced he will voice a character in animated family movie 'Lego: The Piece Of Resistance'.
The 60-year-old actor signed on for the film to play Bad Cop, the sidekick to Will Ferrell's evil President Business.
The film's plot will focus on a character named Emmet (Chris Pratt), whose ordinary life as a Lego minifigure is blown out of proportion after he is mistaken for the Master Builder - the most powerful person in the Lego world - and recruited by strangers who want to save it from the evil President and his sidekick.
The film is aiming for a February 2014 release.
