A list of chick flicks could easily become a never ending trail of romantic comedies. However, one of the more interesting developments in movie making of late is that more of these types of films are being targeted at men. Realizing that men often reluctantly watch romance films with their significant others, film makers are attempting to work in storylines and sub-plots that appeal to guys.

This list of chick flicks includes the best chick flicks for guys in the current year. It is organized alphabetically and includes all movies that fall into the romantic comedy genre, but that are also diverse enough to offer additional themes that would be more appealing to men. In order to include more films in the list, movies that may not have a primary theme of romance, but offer this along with other “guy-friendly” themes are also added.

In order to be included in this chick flick list, the movies have to not only fit the basic criteria, they must have been released in Theaters, on DVD or Blu-ray during the year, and earned a grade of B- or higher in a review on Movie Room Reviews.
