Taylor Swift reluctant to commit to film role

Taylor Swift won't take the lead role in a movie until she finds a character she really loves.

Although the 'Love Story' singer has taken on a small role in 'Valentine's Day' and recently voiced a character for 'The Lorax', she admitted she is reluctant to commit to a main role because she would have to be very attached to a character to take time out of her pop career.

She told MTV News: ''Acting is something I've been fascinated by my entire life. I would want to have the time, the ability and the love for something, the love for a character to where I could really make that commitment to it.''

While, Taylor loved working on 'The Lorax' which also features the voices of Zac Efron, Betty White and Danny DeVito, she explained the voiceover process is vastly different to recording music.

She said: ''What people don't think about with character acting in the voice-over form [is] you're making a lot of sounds. It's very different from when you're singing songs that you wrote. With this, you're sitting there in a booth by yourself having conversations with no one.''
