Miley Cyrus lands God-themed comedy film
Miley Cyrus, Demi Moore and Ashley Greene headline the cast of this American remake of the 2008 French film of the same name. "LOL: Laughing Out Loud" is a fresh coming-of-age story that features both hilarious and heartfelt moments between a mother and daughter. After getting dumped by her boyfriend, 15-year-old Lola (Cyrus) sets out on a path of sexual experimentation and drug use. Meanwhile her oblivious 40-year-old mother (Moore) struggles to move on from her divorce.
Miley Cyrus will star in a God-themed comedy.
The 18-year-old actress will take on the lead role and produce the as-yet-untitled movie, which will be based on a script by writers Sam Brown and Jack Angelo.
Although the plotline is currently being kept under wraps, it is understood to involve a broken promise to God.
Her mother Tish will also assist in producing the project.
Miley shot to fame playing the title role in Disney TV show 'Hannah Montana' has been working hard to shed her tween image.
As well as this new comedy, Miley is to play Demi Moore's daughter in 'LOL: Laughing Out Loud' in which she will smoke marijuana and talk about sex in her new movie.
Details in the script reveal Miley smoking drugs, kissing her female friends, and showing her mother her Brazilian bikini wax.
Among the lines revealed are Ann - played by Demi - telling Miley's character Lola: "You're my daughter. And I won't let you turn into a porn star."
Miley has previously revealed her excitement about working with Demi on the movie - a remake of a French film of the same name.
She said: "We're good friends so I think it'll be fun to work with someone you like a lot. It makes it easier. I'm really looking forward to working with her."
