Morgan Freeman to star in Lego movie
Morgan Freeman will voice a character in 'Lego: The Piece Of Resistance'.
The exact details of the 'Wanted' actor's role in the animated movie are not yet known but deadline reports that he will play Vitruvius, who in historical terms was a Roman warrior.
Elizabeth Banks has also signed up to appear in the film, which features Chris Pratt voicing a regular Lego mini-figure who is mistaken for the famous powerful MasterBuilder and must help stop an evil tyrant from gluing the universe together.
Will Arnett will voice a Lego Batman in the film, which is being co-written by '21 Jump Street' directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller and Dan and Kevin Hageman.
Phil and Chris recently revealed they had targetted an ''amazing'' cast for the movie.
Chris said: The truth is that there's a lot of action in the movie, and one of the compelling things is watching them move without speaking.
''We're hiring really amazing voice talent for the movie that'll hopefully make it all work.''
Phil added: ''We're trying to grab a wide variety of people - no names as we're not allowed to say just yet.''
The film is scheduled for release in February 2014.
