Walt Disney seemed to hold a firm belief in the power of hope. In his company's films, the wishes and prayers of the earnest are often rewarded with a magical or extraordinary fulfillment. The 1994 remake of "Angels in the Outfield" continues this poignant tradition. With a little help from above, hope and faith drive a baseball team to success and give a young boy the home he never dreamt he could have.

Craig's Screening Room: "What If"

Poor Daniel Radcliffe. The kid is working so hard to shirk off the Harry Potter image (don’t believe me- watch “Kill Your Darlings”) and now here’s another romantic comedy about two people trying to prove that men and women can just be friends. The urge to call it “When Harry Potter Met Sally” is way too strong. Unfortunately he has bigger problems here though.

"Home Is Where the Heart Is" Review

“Home Is Where the Heart Is” aka “Watercolor Postcards” is the latest work from director Rajeev Dassani. I saw some of his previous work as the Visual Effects Supervisor in 2010‘s “Almost Kings” and was pleasantly surprised with the film. In “Home Is Where the Heart Is” Dassani takes us to a small town in Texas where the guzzling of Budweiser can barely quench the thirst of the dust filled mouths of the locals. This film is a beautifully written drama that will make you appreciate the small things in life; especially human compassion.
