Darren Aronofsky gets Human Nature
Darren Aronofsky is set to direct 'Human Nature'.
The 'Black Swan' filmmaker - who dropped out of helming 'Wolverine' starring Hugh Jackman just weeks before it was set to shoot earlier this year - is now planning to work on the sci-fi movie, written by little known screenwriter Jeff Welch.
The project tells the tale of a man who is cryogenically frozen and wakes up in the future to find humans are now pets of an alien species.
George Clooney is set to star in the movie, which would be the first Darren has worked on since the massive success of psychological ballet film 'Black Swan', for which he was nominated for an Oscar and Natalie Portman won the Best Actress Academy Award.
Darren - who ended his relationship with British actress Rachel Weisz last year - previously claimed he was worried many actors were scared of him because of his directness.
He said: "I'm very direct, probably direct to a fault with actors, and I've probably scared away a lot of A-list actors, because I tell them how much of a pain this process is going to be, how difficult it is."
