Aaron Paul
Aaron Paul stars in "Need for Speed" as the film's protagonist, Tobey Marshall, a blue-collar mechanic who finds himself sentenced to prison time for a crime for which he was framed. In an attempt to save his failing garage and avenge his friend's death, Tobey signs up for a cross-country race in an underground supercar racing circuit. Before joining the cast of "Need for Speed," Aaron Paul was perhaps best known for his role as Jesse Pinkman on the hit television series "Breaking Bad." Acting since 1998, Aaron Paul has also been in such films as "Mission: Impossible III," "Say Goodnight" and "The Last House on the Left."
Dominic Cooper
Dominic Cooper co-stars in "Need for Speed" as Dino Brewster, a rich and arrogant entrepreneur who previously raced in the NASCAR circuit but has since retired from racing. Tobey Marshall reluctantly teams up with Dino to be partners in a race, and the deal proves to be a mistake when Dino frames Tobey for manslaughter, the crime that lands Tobey in prison. Dominic Cooper began his acting career in 1995, and he has been in such films as "The Devil's Double," "My Week with Marilyn" and "Mamma Mia!" One of his most memorable roles was as Darcy in 2013's "Dead Man Down" along with Colin Farrell.
Imogen Poots
Actress Imogen Poots portrays Julia Bonet in "Need for Speed." Julia Bonet is a car broker who is working out a deal with Tobey before he is hauled off to prison. Upon his release from prison, Tobey reconnects with Julia, and she proves to be a resourceful ally as he takes on the race of a lifetime in the underground circuit. Imogen Poots is a young British actress with an impressive filmography under her belt. She has appeared in such films as "V for Vendetta," "28 Weeks Later," "Jane Eyre," "Fright Night" and "That Awkward Moment."

Ramon Rodriguez
Ramon Rodriguez co-stars in "Need for Speed" as Joe Peck, a trusted employee of Marshall Motors and a loyal crew member of Tobey's racing team. Ramon Rodrguez is a Puerto Rican actor with a career that started in 2005 with a two-episode role on television's "Rescue Me." He has since had parts in "Pride and Glory" and "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen." Ramon Rodriguez also starred as John Bosley in the 2011 television series "Charlie's Angels."
Michael Keaton
Perhaps the most well-known actor in "Need for Speed,"  Michael Keaton portrays the role of Monarch, the quirky and reclusive host of the underground racing competition at the very center of the film's action-packed plot. Michael Keaton's career began in 1977, and he is best known for his roles in such films as "Mr. Mom," "Batman," "Batman Returns," "Multiplicity," "Jack Frost" and "White Noise."
Scott Mescudi
Scott Mescudi co-stars in "Need for Speed" as Benny, an Army Reservist who details cars at Marshall Motors and becomes another loyal member of the Tobey Marshall's racing crew. In the music world, Scott Mescudi is better known as hip-hop recording artist Kid Cudi. Despite being on the soundtrack of many major films, "Need for Speed" is Scott Mescudi's first time acting in a major motion picture. He has, however, been a regular in the television series "How to Make It in America."
Rami Malek
In "Need for Speed," actor Rami Malek portrays Finn, the third member of Tobey Marshall's trustworthy racing crew. Rami Malek hails from California and has been acting since 2004. He has been in such films as "Night at the Museum," "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" and "Short Term 12."

Acting since 1999, Dakota has been in "Beastly," "The Social Network," "21 Jump Street" and "The Five-Year Engagement." She is currently wrapping up production as the lead role in the highly anticipated film "Fifty Shades of Grey."
Harrison Gilbertson
Harrison Gilbertson portrays Little Pete in the film. Little Pete is the younger brother of Anita, and Tobey Marshall has adoringly taken Little Pete under his wing. Actor Harrison Gilbertson is best known for "Beneath Hill 60" and "Accidents Happen."

"Need for Speed" has long been a popular video game created by Electronic Arts, so it stands to reason that a film adaptation would also be a success. The film's cast blends a unique group of actors that includes legendary actors, up-and-coming Hollywood names and a few newbies.
