Neve Campbell lacked acting passion
Neve Campbell didn't have an immediate "passion" for acting.
The 'Scream 4' star planned to be a professional dancer but she was left devastated when a series of injuries left her unable to pursue the art, so she sought solace in a different kind of performance.
She said: "I never wanted to be an actor. It was something I found a passion for; it wasn't there immediately."
The 37-year-old star - who trained at the National Ballet School of Canada before her dream came to an end - admitted that even when she got her first big TV role as Julia Salinger in 90s TV show 'Party of Five' she was still yearning to dance.
She said: "I missed dance so much. I was doing 'Party of Five' and I'd only just stopped dancing, so it was still raw. I couldn't even go to watch any dance without getting upset. I couldn't listen to classical music without bursting into tears."
However, the brunette beauty started to see the positive aspect of her career change when she realised acting is "addictive" because it has the power to move people.
She explained: "You start to love the good moments. You realise something magical has just happened, or that you've done something that people are touched by. That's addictive."
