Justin Timberlake wants more work with Will Gluck
Justin Timberlake wants to make "plenty" of films with director Will Gluck.
The actor-and-singer has praised the filmmaker after working with him on 'Friends with Benefits', which saw him star alongside Mila Kunis and Patricia Clarkson, because he felt as if Will wanted him to "succeed in every way".
He said: "We will make plenty of movies together.
"You feel great being in a movie like this when your director wants you to succeed in every way. He wants to see the guys relate to you and the girls fall in love with you."
The 30-year-old star compared Will's ability to that of 1980s director John Hughes, who worked on the 'Home Alone' series, and revealed he manages to keep the energy levels of his cast up.
He added to the Los Angeles Times: "Will might be embarrassed that I'm comparing him to his idol but 'Ferris Bueller's Day Off' and 'The Breakfast Club' both speak from a point of view of a specific generation. That's what we wanted this film to do.
"He doesn't cut, he just resets. It carbonates the scene in a way. It keeps the energy level up. It was the perfect additive for all the workshopping we did."
The romantic comedy tells the story of pals Dylan (Justin) and Jamie (Mila) whose friendship starts getting complicated when they begin to sleep together.
