Robert Pattinson upset by Twilight hair extensions
Robert Pattinson hated his hair extensions for 'Twilight' so much that he ripped them out.
The actor - who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the 'Twilight Saga' franchise - was initially supposed to have long hair in the movies but his co-star Peter Facinelli revealed Robert eventually put his foot down and demanded a different hairstyle.
He told MTV: ''The first time I met Rob [Pattinson], they had a wig on him. It was like extensions or something because they were thinking of Edward having long hair, and he looked caveman-y, and I was thinking, 'That's Edward? That doesn't look like the Edward I have in my mind, but OK,' and then a week or two later, he hated them and ripped them out and then he got his famous Edward haircut. When he did that [I thought], 'That's more Edward to me.'''
However, Robert, 26, recently had to wear a wig for 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2' re-shoots because he'd cut his hair since the original shoot wrapped last year.
He said: ''We had to do the re-shoots a few weeks ago, and I had to wear a wig. I couldn't believe my last two days on 'Twilight' they put this orange wig on my hair.''
Robert hated the wig, which he branded ''Frankenstein's monster'', and he also revealed the toupee was ''an amalgamation of six [different] wigs'' combined into one.
