Based on a book by Mickey Rapkin, Jason Moore directs this 2012 comedy musical centered around an all-girls acappella group called The Bellas. After years of embarrassing performances at the national finals, the group is in a slump when they wind up recruiting an energetic freshman named Beca (Anna Kendrick). As the newbie sets out to re-vamp everything from the set to their music, The Bellas' enter a much-needed rebuilding process. Their goal is to make it to the campus championship, where they'll take on their male rivals.
