'Survivor' was written by Phil Shelby and will be produced by Charles Winkler and Irwin Winkler.
Jovovich is best known for her starring role in the 'Resident Evil' franchise and was recently cast as a femme fatale character in Sylvester Stallone's testosterone-filled 'The Expendables 3'.
McTeigue is best known for directing 2005 action flick 'V for Vendetta', which also featured an actress in the lead role in Natalie Portman.
