Simon Pegg gets A Fantastic Fear of Everything
Simon Pegg is to star in 'A Fantastic Fear of Everything'.
The 'Star Trek' actor has already begun shooting on the psycho-comedy film, the directorial debut from musician Crispian Mills, about a crime novelist named Jack who becomes a paranoid wreck following detailed research into the lives of Victorian serial killers.
His in-depth analysis leads him to an irrational fear of being murdered, which only becomes worse when a Hollywood executive shows an interest in his book.
Sheridan Smith, Amara Khan and Clare Higgins will also star in the movie, which will be co-directed by animator Chris Hopewell.
It is the first movie to receive backing from new finance initiative Pinewood Films, which is given to small budget independent British films by the Pinewood Studios Group.
Simon, 41, is set to appear in a number of movies in the near future - as well as 'Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol', he will also be reprising the role of Montgomery Scott in the as-yet-untitled 'Star Trek' sequel, due for release in 2012.
